Tidak terlambat untuk mengucapkan "Selamat Hari Pekerja" kepada semua!

Setelah sekian lama tidak menjejak kaki di bandaraya bersejarah ini, maka rancangan mengejut bersama kawan-kawan dibuat hujung minggu untuk pergi ke Melaka. Majority hotel/motel are fully-booked...rupanya cuti sekolah, tapi berjaya juga akhirnya dapatkan bilik di Time Hotel, Melaka Raya.

Kalau pergi Melaka, wajib makan Chicken Rice Ball...ingat chicken rice ball, ingat Melaka! Restaurant yang menjual nasi ayam bola original ni terletak di Jonker Walk. Nak tahu yang mana restaurant tu...sila lihat barisan masyarakat beratur nak masuk restaurant tu...panjangggggggggggggggggggggg!!! *sila lihat panjang tu...memang sgt panjang la tu*

Saja tulis begitu sebab menunjukan ketidakpuasan hati sebab tak sanggup join barisan *marah...muka monyok, tongue out*

Takpa, restaurant lain pun jadilah!

Durian Cendol.....pun wajib!

Seronok makan sambil tengok orang pertandingan karaoke cina di Jonker Walk

Kalau ada peluang...pergilah singgah di Portuguese Settlement. Ada banyak restaurant seafood (portugis) di sini tapi dibuka waktu malam sahaja....di tepi laut macam kat Taman Selera Miri tu.

Next month, June ada pesta San Pedro. Dulu-dulu zaman saya early teenagers, selalu juga join kawan-kawan serani to san pedro festival di Portuguese Settlement ni...one word...BEST!

So...June i will see you again Malacca *muahhh*

Caversham Wildlife Park

Kangaroo & Koala wajib dilawat. Balik KL kawan saya kata...hmm i can smell kangaroo! wtf haha. Hari ketujuh baru dapat peluang pergi melawat wildlife park....gembira tak terkata!.

Tiket masuk = $22 for adult

Terus tersebut "Owh...aren't they cute!!" Tapi bila tengok lama-lama, their tail is massive....teringat movie Avatar, they have big long tail...but sexy...maybe because they have long leg? *trus nak makan vitamin utk menambahkan ketinggian*

We got to feed them.....pat them....

cuddle them if you want.....i wont!

Us..with wombat. Mula-mula saya target nak usap kepala wombat ni but the keeper told us to just touch its feet....huh? only feet? baeklah...

This is cute!

The keeper explained to us that Koala sleeps for 22hours. Hmm...so i thought another two hours for makan, buat bisnes kecik...buat bisnes besar...then say hi to their friend and back to sleep....whoaaa how lucky! Sebab kebetulan Koala ni bangun time kami ada kat sini...here lots photos of them

Sepatutnya semalam nak publish this post tetapi tiba-tiba i got distracted when my ex-boyfriend zaman Uni dulu add me in Facebook...bole? Terus terbengkalai....hampeh betul. Bole pulak message tanya perkembangan masing-masing...kalau mula-mula putus cinta dulu...hamboi dengar nama dia pun trus nak muntah. Sekarang punyalah excited nak tengok perkembangan masing-masing (memang ada perkembangan sebab badan dia kembang sungguh). Oh lupa nak ckp...dah 8tahun berlalu okeh! Betul kata orang....time will heal everything. Hey to you...bole bah kalau kau! (nah! kamurang tau la dari negeri mana dia ni hehe)

For budget traveller macam saya ni, memang sangat dialu-alukan kalau ada orang yang sudi tumpangkan rumah mereka...thanks again! Kat Perth ni ramai saudara kawan saya ni, rajin mereka entertain kami *terharu*. Kami beramai-ramai pergi outing kat Hillary's Boat Harbour...siap bawa bekal untuk picnic.

Cantik tak topi kami? Tu Aunty Joan punya...kami pinjam ;)

Lepas jalan-jalan kat Hillary's Harbour, kami pergi Yanchep untuk picnic. Ada byk burung & kangaroo kat situ tapi tak bole plak bermanja dengan kangaroo tu. Cuma burung ni agak friendly (sebab nak bodek makanan)

Ni pulak time kami BBQ di rumah Aunty Mary. Secara tiba-tiba saya jadi assistant chef bahagian panggang-memanggang di garden....kawan-kawan saya yang comel belaka busy kat dapur. Saya buat-buat busy potong daging (sambil masukan dlm mulut) ;)

Ni kat rumah Aunty Joan...dia masak sangat sedap...saya ambik nasi sikit je (nak penuh pinggan).

Ni kat Malaga Market. Tempat ni jual pelbagai fresh fruits & veges....seketika terasa seperti di pasar TTDI. Macam-macam ada kat sini, baju pun ada...tarrot card reader pun ada. Dijadikan cerita...saya pun pergi la jumpa reader tu for the first time in my life ;) and it cost me $30.

Hello Perth!

Kata 'stay tune for Perth - Part 2'....dua hari baru nak post. Tipu sungguh! Saya bersungguh-sungguh menghabiskan novel romantik yg saya download...siap lap-lap airmata lagi time baca *terharu*

I heard so many people says that Perth is a boring place, nothing much to do but i find it interesting and relaxing at the same time. Kalo kat KL saya tiap hari stress sebab stuck kat trafic berjam-jam, so bila kat Perth ni rasa betul aman...takda menyumpah seranah semasa drive hikss.

Oh lupa nak cakap *lagi-lagi iklan tambahan*....masa checked-in kat LCCT, AA customer service tu heran tengok nama tiga org sekawan ni sama..."Korang ni adik-beradik ke?"

Sampai Perth at 5.30pm...kawan kami yang baik hati dan cantik ala-ala model, Nana dah tunggu nak pick us up from the airport. Fresh rasa udara pagi tu...sejuk. Bila tengah hari....alamak, panas yg membuatkan saya semput *lagi nak complain*. Kami tinggal kat rumah Nana ni...11hari woo...save budget accomodation ;)

Sekarang nak crita wine tour.

Oleh itu....CHEERS!!

Nampak map ni? Kami ikut map ni utk pergi wine tour. Agak banyak juga tempat winery tapi kami larat 4 tempat je *figure why!*

Di Pinelli Winery...terletak berdekatan dengan rumah Nana. Kat Australia ni tak bole minum & drive or drive to drinks...sungguh strict law kat sini. Oleh itu, saya trus tak qualified jadi driver kami...

Di Margaret River....Chocolate factory. Bole la rasa mcm Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

Bole try coklat ni...saya pastikan 2 ketul black chocolate, 2 ketul white chocolate tu....not a big fan of chocolate...sorry! Tak sesuai kan...umpama wanita yg tak suka mekap? eh sesuai tak perumpamaan tu? Ok, ada tak sesapa segolongan dengan saya yg tak gemar coklat? *pakat cari gang*

At Edgecombe Brothers Winery. Bersungguh-sungguh dia explain kat kami pasal wine tu *satu pun tak ingat*

Ouch! saya lupa nama tempat ni. Kami bayar $2.50 sorang utk wine tasting di sini...kira berbaloi la sebab bila tengok list wine tu pun...heh! agak panjang la juga. So try semuanya. Wine yang tak sedap...sila la tuang dlm bekas steel tu.

Kalo anda pergi Perth, jangan lepaskan peluang untuk melawat winery. Wine kat sini murah.

YES i believe so....everything happens for a reason. I never thought i would go through this fcuk-ing situation. I bought a ticket to Perth almost a year ago......main reason was to visit my friend and second reason becoz it was bloody cheap that i MUST buy it (jadi ke tak fly..blakang kira, yang penting tiket dah ada). And that vacation turn out to be the most needed escapade in my life!

There i was at the airport, waiting for my friend from Miri & KL, with a new book in my hand and really looking forward to step my foot at the land down under. "I need to get away....far far away" thats all was in my mind. And i imagine that i found a great job there and that i will not return to this Lumpur land again...start a new life & live happily somewhere...fairytale! Ok not likely to happen isn't it? *still hoping*

I feel like i'm in the Sex & The City scene or Julia Roberts in Eat. Pray.Love.

Anyway, our flight was at 11.50pm and touched down in Perth awal pagi 5.30am.

Introducing my little Charmone (a beagle!). She is 3 months old….tiny! I love her to bit…she is cute & such a sweetheart…but most of the time a little terror. She is a poop machine…gosh! Don’t know where all that come from….considering her tiny body…oh well, need a lot of patience to train her.

Last two weeks, I was panic when I saw blood in her stool. I told my boss and she said I should take Charmone to clinic, ‘You can go home early today…puppy more important’. Hmm…terus shutdown pc, balik rumah and took her to the vet.

My shoes story

How many of us are careful when buying stuff?

On my way to my weekly Salsa class in Wisma Cosway, I saw shoes in the shop waving at me *yea..right*. It’s the evil four letter word actually…S.A.L.E!!

I can’t resist, so I stop by to have a look. I tried few shoes, look at the price, and then put it back on the shelves. But there were these two particular shoes I must buy because they refuse to be put back on the shelves. I can hear their little voices crying and begging me to own them *ok, come to mama*

Ok then, they were so cheap RM20 each *wow bargain*. Pay for them and walked happily to the dance class. Once I reached home, I hide them in bambi. I did not let MH know that I got this stuff because I will feel bad if I spend his money *the good wife*. Hey forget that I bought it with my hard earn salary, no wonder I choose RM20 shoes *LOL*. Well now that you all know I got a new job and everything...must work hard.

I walked from the car park to the house, then suddenly the heels broken. Ahh…must be the rough road. So I get it fixed.

On my graduation day, I decided to wear the cheap shoes I bought. I thought I look good that day, like a professional domestic goddess. I was very excited to meet Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. It’s not like every day you get to meet Tuanku face-to-face and shake hand with him *woohooo!!*

While walking, i felt something wrong with my shoes. Rupa-rupanya tapak kasut nak tercabut *bengang. Why oh why did you do this to me? On the day I meet His Majesty!!! Noooooo......*Tantrum* Maybe on the day i meet Taib, fine.....i understand it.

I decided not to fix it again *buried it deep in the ground*. Not worth it....*doing the math now*

MH said I’m not clever for spending that much on shoes. Oh well, is it a hint that I can demand for an expensive one, like really expensive? Oh thanks dahling *narrowed eyes*

Helping furry friends

One beautiful Saturday morning, I woke up with a big smile on my face. Never did I feel so excited to wake up on a pig’s tail o’clock before. Everything in my systems are so against morning….“I.Hate.Morning” But this time, it is different…

I picked my friend, Laura then we headed to SPCA, Ampang.

We were greeted by a loud ‘woof..woof’ sounds of the furry friends on our arrival…maybe they practising their morning choir, like us during school time, we were forced to sing national anthem…but here, it is non-stop *are they not tired?".

Since the furry friends came from different backgrounds…they react differently when we approached them. We waited in no time to play with some of them.

I spotted our potential furry kid in a cage. The moment I locked eyes with him…I fall in love straight away…he stole my heart, this baby is way too adorable. I text suami, he said we can’t have dogs at the moment, wait till we move to our new place. Hmm…sorry boy…*sedih*

If you can’t look after an animal, don’t bother to adopt any…seriously. Or if you plan to adopt, maybe you should consider SPCA, there are so many beautiful furry friends that need a new home.

Apa warna feveret anda?

Kalau saya plak….dengan segera jawab biru lembut, pink, hijau yg comel. Tapi entah kenapa bila beli baju/seluar, jarang plak beli kaler feveret tu. Saya perasan (bila dah kerja ni) saya ada 6 seluar kaler brown, heh! kaler similar plak tu. Entah kenapa kalau beli je, tangan cepat tangkap warna brown. Apa kes ni! Nanti bila pakai hari2 kaler sama, gerenti org ingat saya pakai seluar yg sama sepanjang minggu…not cool, sah2 bukan org yg reti bergaya sakan (memang pun), sesapa nak jadikan saya bahan make-over, sila lah ye, tapi mesti bila dah make-over tu nanti, saya nampak mcm puteri, kalo bertambah teruk…saya cucuk u dgn garpu.

Saya ada classmate yg tiap hari mesti pakai heels yg at least 4inch, betul ni, tak tipu! Hari-hari tau! *i'm jeles* Sebab dia akan rasa tak cantik kalo pakai yg rendah, biasa2 ni. Saya perhatikan org yg pakai heels ni, nampak cantik la, bergaya, seksi. Kalau yg baca blog ni, anda tahu lah kesetiaan saya kepada Crocs saya tu. MH dah warning, jgn ngada2 nak pakai tu pergi kerja. Memang selesa, kaki tak sakit….tapi tak nampak vogue la. Oleh itu, saya pun beli 1 heels khas utk pergi kerja (tak tinggi pun). Adoyaii…kaki tak tahan la. Errrr…nak nampak vogue tapi sakit? atau selesa tapi tak vogue hahahaha I definitely pilih yg ehem….. Masa lunch saya selalu perhatikan org2 yg bekerja ni, haaa….ada juga yg jln terhenjut2 sebab pakai heels ni, ada juga yg control ayu jln slow2, ada juga yg confident.

Saya menonton Oprah seperti biasa semalam. Sungguh tertarik dgn satu episode ni. Sorang gentleman ni dari Rusia, pergi mencuba nasib di US. Actually kat Rusia dia ni org yg berpangkat tinggi, org besar dlm kementerian lar…so anda bayangkan lar dia ni seperti menteri feveret anda di M’sia ni. Disebabkan lack of English, dia hanya mampu buat kerja janitor sahaja. Pastu dpt blajar English, dia jadi lori driver plak. Kebetulan CEO mereka jadi undercover & spend time dgn gentleman ni & dia lihat betapa gentleman ni very passionate about his job & u tau lar kalau kat Oprah tu, mesti ada surprise besar besar. So, this gentleman dpt his own 7-Eleven franchise. *Suka…lap2 airmata hepi* Apa yg menarik bila dia mentioned, “Org atasan selalunya tidak pandang org bawahan, itu yg saya rasa bila saya pernah berasa di atas” Heh! betul sungguh apa dia ckp. Kan org kata hidup ni mcm roda...

PS: Harap2 org atasan saya ni byk kan bersabar sebab kalau baran sangat tak baik utk kesihatan jantung. Saya rasa kerja ni mencabar tapi saya tak nak give up, handle orang lebih susah…dot dot dot.

I love being surrounded by friends.

Once a while kami get together, bermalam & sembang sampai pagi, entah apa2 la crita, never bored of telling the same story over & over and laugh hysterically at our stupidity in high school…owh! how sweet is that.

They are friends who not afraid to tell me how silly I look in that outfit or how awful I am when I gain so much weight. Good to have friends who can give honest comment and that’s what we needed actually. Daripada kawan-kawan yang kata…..”No dear, you look absolutely fine” walaupun sebenarnya “Eee…teruknya rupa” haha. We can talk about any topics, beauty, health, life etc and how to survive and look beautiful ahaks….

We can commenting about each other and never take it personally and instead try to improve. Or should I say, I comment sesuka hati hihihi. They are the one who listen to my silliness and advise me patiently.

We love to pamper ourselves and a trip to spa is absolutely bliss! We had a great weekend, started with a trip to the cinema, EAT.PRAY.LOVE….we cried, we laughed, and we cheered.

Saya tak suka kelas malam sebab malam sepatutnya digunakan untuk berbual-bual dengan kwn-kwn.

Saya risau hari esok sebab esok saya ada interview dgn kompeni dari UK….neves toksah crita la, type pasal ni pun jantung saya dah berdebar-debar.

Little angel

Last week and weekend I was surrounded by babies. Uh oh….they are so cute! I am at the age where people having babies, like seriously, my cousins semua dah ada at least one & some of them four, five.

I like babies, they are cute little angels that smile at you when you making funny faces or peek-a-boo to entertain them and they can throw tantrums when they wants to or when you scares them or when they want food etc. To be honest, I’m not good with babies, I don’t know how to hold them coz for me they are so fragile little thing that I’m worried I might break their little fingers or causing bruises on their precious skin coz I hold them tightly so I wont drop them or something. I rather sing or just interact with them while their mom holding them. In my attempt to hold a baby, she/he will cry, was I that scary? See, told you! they don’t like me either.

Last weekend, we were at Lake Garden with MH’s colleague. He got two kids, 3 years old and 1year old little Charlotte. The moment little Charlotte out from the taxi, two photographers asking permission to take her photos and people around smiling and went like ….”owhh…isn’t she adorable”….the look with admiration when you saw babies….that’s why I said babies are adorable and I don’t understand mom who dumped their babies, seriously, don’t they feel attached to the baby that she/he living in the mom’s belly for almost 9months? tak paham….

*how can you resist such an adorable creation of God. Milan is super cute! xoxoxo

When we went back I asked MH, how are we going to look after ours, I never change nappies before. I remember my sis-in-law said, you will learn eventually, it’s a mother instinct…really? That’s what she said when she asked me to hold baby George. I never volunteer to babysit for my nephews or niece but if I have to, I will bribe them with candy or ice-cream so they will behave themselves. RM1 for them to not mess the house and some more treat if they being super angel that day. Not good!

Woke up in the morning is so peaceful. MH said, if we got kids, they will be screaming & running around the house at this time. True also lar. and I won’t be pampered and have breakfast in bed like sekali skala, takda makna nya. And if mh still call me Baby, that will confuse the kids. Thinking of how ours will look like, will they look like me or the father? Kan..kan…mcm2 fikir hahaha maybe mcm tu la if people are planning to extend to another generation. School lagi, how are we going to afford it? it's not cheap nowadays. must.work.hard. Fikir mcm ni makes me takut oredi, how lar? What if we can't provide for the kids?

I have so much respect for mothers out there. It’s not easy juggling work, homework, husband & kids. You deserve hugs….*big bear hugs*

Was in Loughborough last June. *backdated* since when do I update latest story here, I’ll blog about stuff sesuka ati je.

Loughborough or me & MH call it Lugabaruga….mcm syiok lagi bah…Lugabaruga!.

Lima hari kat Lugabaruga, MH ada kursus kat HQ. At first excited la sesangat. Best sebab hotel memang kat town centre. Pagi-pagi kami breakfast sebelum MH g ofis, pastu saya naik bilik kejap rilex, then turun explore the town sorang-sorang.

First day, saya explore tempat shopping dulu *eyes-wide-open*. Kluar masuk kedai, tengok-tengok baju tapi tak beli lagi on the first day sebab saya ada 4 hari lagi. Lunch time plak, coffee & sandwich tapau dan makan kat park sambil tengok orang berjemur dan bila dah 5petang baru balik hotel, get ready for dinner with MH…pss: world cup time ni.

Second day, saya pergi park lagi, kali ni bawa buku & blanket…berjemur la ni. Makin tinted kulit akak tau!

Third day: MH told me ada ala-ala pasar pagi kat depan mall, you may find some stuff you might like. A’ah jgn buang masa, must.go.and.see! Mcm2 mereka jual, ikan, daging, baju, aksesori, pendek kata mcm-mcm la. Tengah lalu kedai jual barang Thailand (tau la sebab biasa tgk). Mamat Thai ni dah senyum2 kat I dari jauh lagi. Bila dah dekat, dia kata “Sawadikap”….i jawab “sawadikap” lengkap dgn aksi tangan. Third day ni I gunakan untuk shopping baju2 yg I dah target nak beli on the first day. Kat sini murah la berbanding dgn kat Malaysia…brand sama juga la. Dah shopping sakan, I balik hotel pack baju sekalian dengan elok je dlm bag, MH tak tau I abiskan duit dia *evil-laugh*.

Hari ke-empat, saya dah nak pitam dah….bored tahap maksimum. There’s nothing to do here…eh kalau rajin ambik je train pergi mana-mana, tapi saya tak nak. Terfikir….kalau korang, what will you do?

It’s a University town. Ramai juga la rakyat Malaysia, student kot yg berselisih bahu dengan saya tapi saya just bagi senyuman manis je. Yang saya terjumpa ni Malay la, sebab bertudung….rasa nak tegur, segan juga la.

Kebetulan my birthday, 18th June so me & MH kuar g dinner. After that sambung gi bar hopping. It was fun, only two of us. Ramai juga students and thats make me feel like a teenagers again LOL!! The DJ pun sporting, mainkan my feveret song & announce birthday ai *blush

Just three weeks after kami balik ke M'sia, MH kena pergi Lugabaruga lagi for meeting *yawn*. Saya tak bunyi-bunyi kata nak folo hikhikhik unless la saya lepak tempat lain contoh nya london ke. oh btw, masa tu saya sepatutnya pergi jumpa kawan kat london, tp dia busy kot tu pasal la just merayap kat lugabaruga tu je.

Hong Kong Disneyland

I heard people (ni kwn satu group kami ni) mentioned that HK Disneyland la yang paling lousy, kecik etc. So mereka taknak join skali, they went to Ocean Park. I tak pernah pergi mana-mana Disneyland pun, only in my dream Disneyland je so I am up for it. Kami berempat naik taxi, senang & selamat sampai.

HOLA Disneyland! Ni kat entrance....i rasa excited giler dah.

Sebab excited giler, oleh itu kena la ambik gambar sorang-sorang plak.

Jalan masuk dari entrance tu agak jauh la juga. So bila nampak Mickey ni...maknanya dah dekat sikit la...

Arrived in Hongkong

AirAsia has been so generous lately (or dari dulu lagi, sesetengah org akan sahut mcm tu) that I am able to fly to places. RM389 return ticket to Hongkong is not bad at all…woohoo!!! love it! But I usually rely on my circle of friends to inform me about the generosity of AA hehehe.

So Hongkong it is then. We gathered at the LCCT. Yang baju merah & putih tu just arrived from South Africa (they still smell of World Cup perfume) and in the evening trus pergi Hongkong with us. Sian korang, gerenti penat kan.

Kami seramai 12orang tapi only 6 of us on the early flight, tu pun semua yg tak pernah jejak kaki ke HK.

Penat giler...i tido the whole journey and woke up when i smell food!

Hello HK!

Spotted this curious looking pug….so cute!

Kami naik taxi pergi ke hotel. 6 orang so kena ambik dua taxi la. Audrey with me, ada juga org yg reti ckp Cantonese. Semasa dlm taxi saya received sms from Carol tanya brapa dah meter taxi kami. Mula-mula rasa pelik plak kwn ni sms brp kali, tiap kali tu juga la saya buat laporan langsung brapa our meter rate.

Sesampai di hotel, keadaan agak kecoh, rupanya kwn2 saya dah kena tipu dgn taxi driver, patutlah mesej memanjang je. Mereka kena charge mahal, dah tu kena halau dari taxi plak….wah! what a first impression. Sila la buat laporan polis, kami dikelilingi beberapa org polis, fuh! terasa mcm dlm HK drama plak. Best la polis mereka ni….saya mcm paham je apa mereka ckp, maklumlah dulu2 suka tgk drama HK lol!!! Mula-mula dua org polis je, pastu tetiba datang lagi ramai, eh sayang uols.

Around 9pm, another group of frens sampai from KL. We went for dinner. Whoaa…the food portion is massive, should share between two.

This dessert was so yummy...."You can't find this in KL". Indeed. must.eat.everyday.

This is what happens when you travel in a large group. Have to squeeze to fit in a table. Not comfortable but you feel the friendship spirit.

What else to do in HK apart from shopping. Goodness gracious me! Everywhere you look, there’s temptation of emptying your wallet. I officially marked HK as a shopping heaven. Wait little dahlings…one day I will come and get you, it’s just a matter of time hahahaha.

Makanan kat Malaysia ni ada mcm-mcm…..

Semuanya sedap sebab kena dengan selera.

Tapi saya nak crita pasal this particular food….the stinky food!

Belacan, budu, cencalok, ikan masin, ikan pusu (bilis), durian, petai etc.

Siapa kata makanan ni tak stinky…tipu la korang. Kalo goreng ikan masin, abis semerbak ‘harum’ satu rumah. Benda2 ni ‘diharamkan’ di rumah kami. Bila saya ngidam nak makan ikan masin, tetap juga goreng, pastu pasang kipas full swing, smua tingkap buka & burn the aromatheraphy candle….hahaha the stinky smell will be gone by the time hubby reach home in the evening….halleluia!

Kenapa kita suka makanan berbau? Seriously...*wondering* but for us it is sedap & for those yg bukan 'org sini', memang bau tu buatkan mereka nak muntah la. Bayangkan kita di tempat mereka........hikhikhikhik

Dancing Friday

I can’t remember when was the last time we dance to the groove? To check that we still have the rhythm, I text my friends if they up for it. It’s like one of those random suggestions. “Nak lepak tak mlm ni?” So both agreed and there we are, sitting comfortably at Rum Jungle…sharing our thoughts.

One of our friend is in the midst of finishing her research and all of us agreed “Do not disturb” sign must hang on the wall and another one for sure will reject the idea…I guess hihihi

It’s good to hang out with girlfriends once a while, dance like nobody cares. Good exercise indeed! and it makes you feel beautiful inside. Like outing for BBQ by the beach, you fill-up your tummy with the greasy chicken wings but you get rid of the lemaks by swimming kat laut….haaa mcm tu la.

During my teenage years, I will put extra effort to dress up & put make-up on every time we out for dancing. But now, I can’t be bothered. Is that a sign of ‘age factor’?

Windsor terletak tak berapa jauh dari Heathrow.

Suamiku (wah! gitu) dlm progress menjual rumah dia yg juga tak berapa jauh dari Windsor so kami 'melawat' dulu rumah tu in case ada barang-barang yang tertinggal ke, surat menyurat etc. Lepas semua settle, we decided to have lunch by the river & see the beautiful swans.

"Carol, cuba ko tinguk itik putih tu, sudah kurang kan". Saya tak kira pun berapa banyak itik tu. "Carol, abis tu itik kami tangkap". "Haaa...mcm mana? orang tak marah ka?". Si jawas cakap "Malam-malam kami menyelam dgn senyap, lepas tu tangkap tu itik, bawa balik panggang". "Kami tangkap itik putih jak sebab waktu malam kaler itam tak nampak".

Well, begitulah kawan2 saya yang berdarah muda. Utk tidak menimbulkan kontrovesi, jgn cari saya sekiranya menyaman org2 ni...sebab mereka dah di luar kawasan liputan. sekian.

Hanya memendam niat nak ke US entah bila agaknya tu. So USJ pun ok bah!

Agak bizi di hujung minggu dgn bff i sorang ni..kehulu kehilir kami membawa diri. Indai Mina menjemput Endun makan-makan di rumah *hikhikhik* saya pun ikut skali. Trima kasih Indai Mina!! Byk giler lauk yang ngam dgn selera...tuan rumah kata sila sila makan. Saya tak tercover lagi perasaan malu2 kucing, isi perut. Kalau bertandang ke rumah org *khas utk sesi makan*, pakaian yang sesuwai adalah....gown santai yg kembang atau skirt kembang *LOLS*.

Tercapai juga hajat nak makan mi kolok....kami dijemput? *chuckles* menjamu selera di rumah pn.Girl di Ampang. Trima kasih Girl!! (dijemput tu mcm sopan je bunyi, w/pun actually menghantar diri).

Saya dgn bff saya yg di US ni suka memanjakan diri di Summit, massage la, facial la...tapi best je! Gelak-gelak sambil gosip yang sihat salah satu faktor muda dalaman *ceh!*

Hari ni plak lepak dgn classmate. Ish! semua 'memuji' badan saya dah naik, ni mesti geram tengok lengan dan pipi saya yg mantap ni. Tapi takpa, cermin di rumah saya kata OK je tak gemuk pun.

Located near Tenby in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside.

Bayaran masuk untuk 'budak besar' (adults) is 8pound and kanak-kanak 7pound.

Folly Farm is not only a farm...ada macam-macam contohnya funfair, ni benda pusing2 ni ferris wheel, go-karting etc.......you're never too old for Folly Farm :-)

Sepatutnya summer la, tapi alahaii kan main lagi chilly sebab angin agak tak sporting *bungkus badan dengan baju berlapis-lapis*

Discover Lahad Datu

I was in Lahad Datu on 28th June 2010 to meet the wonderful children in Humana.

My body was aching (after climb the Mt. Kinabalu), walked slowly like an old grandma *from now on, pls give way to matured citizen*. Climb the stairs was an excruciating pain. At least it attracted attention from other passengers who look at me dgn penuh simpati & try to offer their help *yea, get a wheelbarrow pls*

The airport is just a stone throw away from the town, basically u can just run to the restaurant to tapau nasi lemak & teh tarik then board the aircraft or if u want to be super nice, tapau for everyone :-)

Tuntutan bagasi!

Kami disambut oleh representative from Humana and took us straight to the school..Halleluia!

"Welcome visitors"......greet the children. They sing a wonderful song *forgot the title*, such a fantastic moment, i felt a lump in my throat.

He is drawing a map, in case you wondering what it is. Explained to the children where we are from.

and the children did what they should do...*just nod their little heads* When i was their age, i did the same thing, especially during history and geography lesson *o.O isn't it rude to let the teacher repeat the same thing over and over? hihihihi*

They took us to visit the second school *still have to climb stairs*. Btw, there are 107 schools *if im not mistaken*

The third school we visited, their classroom is at the rooftop *more stairs*. When we reached there, the children was dress-up in traditional costume and ready to perform for us, thank you very much!

They promised there will be no more stairs for the third school *yes, true*. The third school we went to was Humana House No.68.

The following day, we visited the fourth school, Humana House No. 69. It is located at the plantation area which is about 45mins drive from town.

Menarik perhatian saya apabila bertemu secara 'face-to-face' dengan sea gypsies atau Pala'u. Mula-mula saya ingat Bajau Laut, tapi kawan saya dari Sabah memberitahu bahawa mereka tu bukan Bajau Laut tapi Pala'u and dont call them Bajau Laut coz it may offended the Bajau Laut *i was told that Bajau Laut are modern*. ooppsssy sory! *need to do more research*

They live in the boat, cook, sleep etc....basically like what we do but it just that they are at sea...the best maritime ever! They move from island to island, i was told that some? are stateless. I did asked the man in blue t-shirt, where are they from....he said from blablabla *i dun remember*. He said he like it there in Lahad Datu.

there are few generation in one boat. Can u imagine that? Im trying hard not to think how they adding the generation *knock head*

Pernah tak terfikir betapa malangnya nasib diri jika dibandingkan dgn org lain? Lama tak shopping baju baru ke sebab budget tak cukup? DONT! Sebab ada lagi yang menderita dan masih lagi hidup seperti kais pagi makan pagi....baju baru belum tentu dapat in few years. Thanks God for what we have and pray for those unfortunate. This trip was really meaningful to me *insaf*

Conquered Mount Kinabalu

Early in the morning, we are ready to face the challenge (ready or not)! Saya ingat lagi tour guide tu kata..."Jgn risau, semua org bole buat...the youngest was x years old & yg paling tua pernah mendaki gunung...xxyears old *sorang nenek*) Whoaaa....goodness, that sounds easy, i can do that! Well, i thought that we gonna climb the mountain, up to the summit, then come down and we'll be absolutely fine.....and we will fly from here...to here and we gonna have fun!

and.....i realised that wasn't the case. I was out of breath!

Finally we reached Laban Rata. Everyone was enjoying their hot tea, while us 'half dead' trying to reach there....*narrowed eyes*

I felt the altitude sickness, headache & chest tight and susah betul nak bernafas.

Breakfast at 1.30am, maggie mee of coz....malaysian ma.... At 2.00am kita gerak dari Laban Rata, nak sampai summit sebelum sunrise. Saya memakai 5 layers sebab org kata, kat summit tu freezing cold.

Paling mencabar sekali ialah naik up to the summit. I dah banyak kali berhenti minum air, tekak terasa kering, tak selesa. I wasn't prepare for such challenge! But i came this far & its a shame to not reach the summit. Orang Ulu fighting spirit keeps me going (cewah!!).

Kena pegang tali yang disediakan, kalo tak, nanti tergolek & tak gerenti idup ke tak.....fuh! i dah neves tau! Seriously, mcm mana kalo saya dah tak larat tahan badan yg gebu ni?

Thanks God, we safely reached the summit just in time for the sunrise. What an amazing view....God's creation! Amen!

Family affair

Since majority of the family cant attend our wedding in Miri, so we did our reception a.k.a family (hubby's side) and friends get-together.

The venue was at Llechwen Hall, a privately owned, country house hotel. Everything went quite well, the food was yummylicious and warm environment. MIL plan everything...invitation, venue...semualah...kami *ahem* just jalan lenggang-kangkung je...THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Thanks Abby for the lovely cakes...she baked 3 cakes for us.

Kes panik cari baju nak pakai...called MIL tanya apa theme, she said just casual *senyum gembira...luv it*. So i bought dress from Mango time kat Braga, ok la simple2 je.

Lebih kurang 50lebih immediate relatives and close frens. Walaupun semua introduced themselves to me....welsh contingent sebelah MH's dad & English contingent belah MIL, tapi saya gagal untuk menghafal nama.

Romantic cruise in Porto and wonderful evening in Obidos

Time to head south to Lisbon. Stop at Porto, also known as Oporto, the second largest (after Lisbon) city of Portugal. One of Portugal's most internationally famous products, Port wine, is named after the city.

Few hours in Porto, we head south to Obidos and stayed there for a night.

The town of Óbidos is located on a hill and is still encircled by a fortified wall. The well-preserved mediaeval look of its streets, squares, walls and its massive castle have turned the picturesque village into a preferred tourist attraction in Portugal. If visiting, it is compulsory to try the local cherry liquor known as ginjinha.

I can imagine myself in mediaeval era...walking along this street in my massive gown like a peacock with beautiful hat and kipas amoi *eee...i like! *chuckles*

The next day, we back in Lisbon to catch our flight to London. British Airway was on strike and we have to fly with Air Finland. But thats fine, as long as we can fly back to UK.

Thats it for our trip in Portugal *drowning in tears*, two weeks was not enough (tamak betul!) but we glad that we managed to travel to few cities and town in Portugal. I absolutely love it! The people are friendly. Ah talking about hospitality, it melt my heart *hurry get ice*

Visiting friend in Braga

Braga terletak lebih kurang 3jam lebih dari Lisbon.

Braga is the oldest Portuguese city and, one of the oldest Christian cities in the World. Kawan MH ada kat Braga, nama dia Marco. GPS bawa kita betul kat city centre, sambil minum kopi tunggu Marco.

Eh eh dia dah kurus sikit, katanya slalu joging tiap petang. Dia bawa kami jalan-jalan melawat salah satu church yang terletak berdekatan. I tell you, there are so many churches in Portugal. Church kat sini lama dan sangat menarik design nya....terfikir juga, creative nya orang dulu2 buat design. Yang paling bestnya bila mereka tetap menjaga dan kekalkan bangunan lama so masih ada ciri-ciri sejarah.

In front of a church in Braga. Kami tak dibenarkan mengambil gambar dalam gereja tersebut, i was so tempted sebab sangat impressive, apa nak buat simpanlah gambaran tu dlm minda.

Marco bawa kami melawat a place called Bom Jesus, 15mins drive from city centre. Building ni ialah tempat station of the cross, start dari bawah bukit sampai ke atas. Dalam setiap building ni ada statue utk setiap station.

Agak penat juga panjat bukit ni haish! termengah-mengah aku dibuatnya. Stunning view!

Setelah penat exercise turun panjat bukit, Marco bawa kami dinner di satu restaurant yang agak terpencil dari bandar. Dia kata tempat tu serve the best steak. Haaa...tengok tu, steak besar dari kepala i. Bole lagi menyaksikan makcik tu potong daging untuk di grill...gedegang bunyi dia potong daging tu *hihihi gelak suka* Mereka serve wine yang dibuat sendiri, home-made wine. Anggur yang ditanam diblakang rumah. Awh...lovely! The best steak i've ever tried, pasti tak jumpa yang best mcm ni lagi *sedih*

Keesokan harinya Marco bawa kami melawat Geres National Park *wah best org plak tolong plan aktiviti kali ni*. Kat area tu banyak lake dan kami nak bermandi-manda la ni *pack bikini*. Drive naik ke atas bukit yang agak tinggi and view from the top was absolutely breath-taking. Dia bawa kami melalui border Spain, takda orang check passport pun hihihi *im in Spain bebeh*.

Bila nak mandi tu, sekejap je masuk dlm air sebab terlalu sejuk dan cuaca plak panas. Jadi sunbathing je la, terdampar kat situ mcm obor-obor, tak apply apa-apa lotion. Selama 3 jam tu dah boleh buat kulit i rentung, yang dua orang lagi tu takpa la. Lake tu sunyi je & terlalu aman....away from the hustle & bustle, lupa masalah kejap.

MH lupa masukkan memory card dlm camera yang kami bawa *i blame u mister*. So tukar lagi plan, kami bermalam lagi for one night in Braga. Mula-mula ingat nak book hotel kat Geres ni *we fell in love with Geres* tapi malas nak berangkut barang-barang. Kami datang balik ke Geres untuk mengambil gambar...berbaloi la untuk pemandangan yang sukar untuk dilupakan ni.

Kebetulan malam tu ada street party di kampung sebelah...eh i lupa nama so panggil je la kampung sebelah, mcm cute je. The next day is Corpus Christi, salah satu celebration for Catholic and its a public holiday so its the tradition utk celebrate the day before. Petang tu ada bull-fighting juga.

Masa dinner, adik Marco told me that during midnight volunteers will start roll the carpet. Saya ye ye je la, ingatkan carpet bebenar. Rupanya mcm ni. Teringat kat Malaysia pun ada, tapi Hindu punya la. Masa celebration of Corpus Christi, priests akan jalan atas carpet ni.

Kalo p Portugal, memang berbaloi utk masukkan Braga city dlm itinerary :-)

PS: Thinking of Paul the octopus....this guy is really a psychic or what. Betul-betul plak Spain menang against Germany today.

A pilgrimage in Fatima

Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima.

Semasa di convent school, antara crita yang sentiasa saya ingat (time kelas agama) ialah mengenai 3 orang budak di Fatima iaitu Lucia Santos and her cousins Jacinta & Francisco Marto dimana Mother Mary menjelma dihadapan 3 orang budak ni. Seronok dengar crita tapi no idea Fatima tu terletak dimana? *chuckles*

Semasa mencari tempat parking, agak banyak juga lah bas yang membawa pelancong kesini. Risau juga takut tak ada hotel tempat bermalam, tapi jangan panik, rupanya banyak hotel penginapan disini *lega*. Every year, it is estimated that millions pilgrimage visited Fatima & im so grateful to be there.

"Wow!" tempat tu memang sangat besar. Tempat ni akan penuh sesak time big celebration *make sense*. Saya rasa sungguh tenang semasa berada di sini.

Disinilah tempat Mother Mary menampakkan diri kepada 3 orang budak tersebut.

What to do in Sintra

Picture taken way back in 2006 during the Queen's Day in Amsterdam, it was orange craze where everyone wearing orange. I looked like a limau mandarin but have to wear the jacket lar...so cold!

29th May 2010 i was in Sintra. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on account of its 19th century Romantic architecture.

Quinta da Regaleira was so impressive. It was bought by the Baroness da Regaleira in 1840 and transformed the property into an elegant summer retreat, with a palatial house and chapel.

Bila tengok ukiran semua ni, i was so impressed. Architect ni memang creative & sabar! Ok, imagine buat ukiran untuk house, chapel & garden...in 1840? Bayangkan i buat ukiran berbentuk manusia...tup tup tup tertanggal kepala, gerenti kena start balik kot! hmmm....*someone are born with talent, i must say*

Ni la orang yg bertanggungjawab utk semua architecture tu. His name is Luigi Manini, architect, painter and set designer. *mcm garang je muka dia ni aku tengok*

Castelo dos Mouros. Constructed by the Moors in the 8th or 9th Century A.D., this castle is situated on two peaks of the Serra de Sintra, and from its walls there are magnificent views.

I didn't make it to the top of Castelo dos Mouro i was too scared! It was windy & who knows it might blow me like a dust. Ok fine, im scared of heights.

This is Palacio da Pena or Castelo da Pena. It stands on one of the rocky peaks of the Serra de Sintra. The Palace dates back to 1839, when the King Consort Dom Fernando II of Saxe Coburg-Gotha (1816-1885) bought the ruins of the Hieronymite Monastery of Nossa Senhora da Pena and started to adapt it for use as a residence, according to his Romantic taste.

Cermin kereta plak kena pecah time syok melawat palacio. Ni betul2 membantu menambahkan kos travel. Nasib baik takda benda yg berharga dlm kreta ni except one luggage full of dirty laundry *chuckles*. Bila tukar2 hotel ni, tak larat nak bawa smua luggage kluar masuk hotel, so kita separate the clean one.

I actually tortured my feet that day, walked non-stop from morning till evening. We dont have "off day" coz there are so many places to see, yet so little time.

Ps: for me, castle is castle...tu yg tak heran sgt but the Quinta da Regaleira is so different & bukan castelo & it really impressed me!

Lisbon

Hola Lisboa!! Great city!

Byk bangunan lama2 kat sini.

Jalan kat sini kebanyakannya cobble stone, so susah sikit (for me) nak guna heels so i tetap setia with my crocs shoes hehe...

Ni i tak ingat tugu apa nama ni...lupa.

Kebanyakan building ada ceramic. We love portugal so kita decided utk masukkan sikit ciri2 portugis kat our new home, so we *ahem* bought number 30 in ceramic...and i hope contractor tak pecahkan coz thats all we have hehehee.

Time for makan! MH told me that "Dear, they open for dinner at seven". No way! I ignored him & dragged him to the restaurants yg i rasa serve nice food. Pura2 baca menu yg dilekat kat luar restaurant. Well, all their menu is in portuguese & i tak paham apa pun. I tanya the owner "Do u serve food now?" Dia geleng-geleng kepala. Pastu said something in portuguese...i pulak geleng-geleng kepala. Dia ambik kertas, tulis no. 7 pastu buat aksi tangan mcm buka pintu hihi baru i paham. Then i jwb "ahh...sim! obrigada".

It was 6.00pm, laaa..nak tunggu pukul 7 ni, perut dah lapar. Kat kolumpur bole je main masuk kedai makan, apalagi mamak yg buka 24jam. Sementara nak tunggu 7pm, kita singgah kat stall for coffee & ham burger.

Street kat lisbon ni siang hari tak berapa sesak. Org kat sini start party lambat & abis pun lambat as in 8am mcm tu la. Time kita sampai, the street dah sesak & penuh dgn party people. Train kat blakang i tu turun naik bukit coz agak curam jugaklah...kalo nak exercise, bole la jalan kaki je.

Jeronimos Monastery! Listed by UNESCO as one of the world heritage. I sempat ikut mass here. We cant visit the nun coz it was closed, they were on strike apparently.

If u are in Belem, its a must visit cafe....Pasteis de Belem, walkable from the monastery. They serve the best pastel de nata ever. It was created before the 18th century by Catholic nuns at the Jerónimos Monastery. People are queuing to get in so u know how tasty it is :-)

The statue was so huge, gigantic statue of Jesus, i was told that there are 3 similar statues, one in Portugal, another one in Rio de Janeiro & satu lagi kat mana? i lupa la.. Ok, nak naik atas statue ni kena bayar 4euro. Naik lift tak rasa sgt tapi bila dah kat atas...alahai gayat nya!!

Muora, Estrela & Albufeira

Next stop is Moura, lebih kurang 1hr 20mins from Evora. On the way tu, kita stop kat random places sbab view macam menarik je. Kena la gunakan peluang ni sebaik mungkin sebab we might not do any trip like this anymore.

Lepas penat jalan2 kat area ni, kita p minum coffee dulu before bertolak to Estrela. Perut dah rasa lapar but MH said lets have lunch in Estrela, so ikut je la.

Moura to Estrela dlm 30mins, dekat je. GPS telah membawa kita betul2 depan sebuah restaurante.

Wow! betapa tenangnya rasa bila tengok view mcm ni, sambil makan...rasanya nak tambah lagi makanan hehehe. Yeah, trip kali ni lebih kepada explore tempat2 yang unik if u know what i mean. One thing about Portugal, the food is fantastic & tak mahal sangat *thumbs up*

Estrela to Albufeira is about 3hours.

Hola Albufeira! Albufeira situated in the central Algarve region of Portugal. Tempat ni memang tourists area....time ni pun memang ramai org. Put it this way, sesapa pernah pergi phuket, lebih kurang mcm tu la but minus the hooker. Bars, cafe, shops all along the streets and lively nightlife. MH told me that this is kind of british holiday but a mild version...hehe

From Lisbon to Evora

We checked-in at VIP Suites Eden for one night, the hotel situated right in the centre of Lisbon. The hotel look absolutely beautiful, the architecture etc and they have swimming pool at the roof top. Well, who need a swimming pool in this climate, even back home in KL i dun bother to use the pool unless the ladies come over for weekend hehee...

25th May 2010.....Evora

Anyway, we plan our trip to explore the south of Portugal, back to Lisbon to experience the big weekend party & then head north. All we need is our beloved santo GPS and our rental car. We didn't book any accomodation in advance, kira main belasah je...bila sampai destinasi baru cari accomodation. Ni kira ok la for couple yg 'bujang'.

Évora is situated in Alentejo (south of Portugal). It is the chief city of the district and capital of Alto Alentejo Province. Évora was wrested from the moors by Geraldo the Fearless (Sem Pavor) in 1166 and flourished as one of the most dynamic cities in the Kingdom of Portugal during Middle Ages. Évora is included in UNESCO's World Heritage list. It was known by the Romans as Liberalitas Julia, and vestiges from this period (walls and rooms) and the monumental imperial temple (Diana's temple), still remain.

Makan aiskrim sambil jalan2. FYI, ramai gak org sini, i mean portuguese tak brp sgt ckp english. Kena guna sign language kekadang hihi tp takda pun or gelakkan u. Cuba kat KL, abis kena gelak eh eh u ni indon ke? kenapa bunyi mcm indon? (sori, no offence to fellow indonesian).......sori dude! im proud to be sarawakian, thats it! sod that. (as if u dont understand what we from the borneo speak...i sense the double standard there *sniff..sniff*)

Bila jalan kat the street, rasa mcm kembali ke zaman dulu2 coz this is medieval town. The street in cobble stone & gerenti heels hancus so I tetap setia with my crocs shoes (remember I did blog about shoes before?) hehe…..

It's 8.30pm and masih cerah...wah! suka..suka...Time ni perut dah lapar & cari tempat utk makan. I felt a bit tired coz of jetlag tapi tak bole layan sangat coz there are so many places to explore in just two weeks. We did a lot of driving and it is a good excuses coz i am not allowed to drive tapi sian gak dgn laki aku ni, tak rehat2, jauh plak nak menuju setiap tmpat tu. Btw, kat sini org drive sebelah kiri. MH agak janggal mula2 bila drive, neves jugak cik puan kat tepi tu heheehe.

Unik je deco kat dlm restaurant ni. Ni itik bebenar tau...ada lagi la binatang lain.

Lepas dinner, trus balik hotel tido. Esok jauh lagi perjalanan, kena bangun awal pagi...

Hello London

This is it! i really need this holiday, to be honest...after my long battle with my thesis.

Our flight to London was at 9am on the 23th May so we were out from the house at 5am, pig's tail o'clock but i dun mind any bit of it, i was so looking forward to adventure the homeland of Vasco de Gama or Afonso de Albuquerque hmm...very opportunistic hehe...

We transit for four hours at Doha airport before catch the next flight. Baru je melangkah kluar from the flight, i felt that the heat sangat la panas, i sesangat memahami how my fren who currently live in Bahrain feel.

This is Doha airport....rata je mcm Holland.

We arrived at Heathrow, London at 10pm UK time. We checked in at Premier Inn, not far from Heathrow coz it will be easier for us to catcth the next day flight to Lisbon. Tiba kat hotel room, i was so thirsty & ask MH to get mineral water from the bar. Gosh! i forgot that it is safe to drink from the tap coz where i came from, it is never safe unless u dare to take the risk....malah kekadang kaler air paip tu pun semacam je.

The next day i woke up early...oh! how i miss london....the smell, the fresh air, the view. The wild flowers grow happily here & i remember my attempt to plant flowers in my own little garden back home & despite me nurturing & talk to them everyday (like actually talk to them)...they still in miserable state & die eventually and end up MH calling me plant killer.

Our flight to Lisbon was at 11.25am on Monday 24th May and we step foot on Portugeisa land at 2.05pm. Kita naik TAP Portugal woohoo!!

Meal served was this....bacon. The stewardess main bagi je meal to smua passengers. Wow! first time ever i naik flight yg serve non-halal food...im no longer in homeland. I tak tau la if they buat list sapa makan & sapa tak leh makan but let me know k if u experience it.

Bila dah collect luggage, MH tarik i p cafe kat airport tu. Dia punya semangat to grab the pastel de nata a.k.a tart. He told me that i might find it difficult to have my 'usual' coffee coz kofi diaorg kaw2 punya. Yes indeed! i ordered cafe longo. Hmmm....yummy! a must-try pastel de nata, only in Portugal...tmpat2 lain rasa tak sama contohnya yg dibeli kat midvalley etc.

Ok ni lagi satu....time tunggu taxi. Taxi mereka best je etc Peugeot, Mercedez lama & harga tak double mcm kat tmpt kita...kalo naik taxi yg nampak mahal sikit, start la double price aiseh!!

Entah apa la nasib, Mike lost his glasses. Tu kan dah mcm his first wife...u know, like melekat dgn dia sepanjang hari cuma time kuar plane dia pakai sunglasses...amboi laling, len kali simpan elok2. Dia perasan glasses ilang time in the hotel so petang tu juga pergi buat baru & collect the next day...wow! cepatnya. Well, someone got new glasses for the holiday aye :-) and there will be another story of glasses coming next.

Thats is for the london-portugal....and nanti2 akan crita Portugal plak...cheers!

Hello!!!! im back....(but my heart is still in Europe, too many places to visit, things to see but too little time & if only money grows on trees...it'll be absolutely fantastic....surely will travel around the world & spend like there is no tomorrow *sigh*)

Arrived last night after almost 20hrs on flight & transit...aiya why so long arrr, my back pain oredi.

Will update on the whole trip soon from A-Z & i'll tell u as it is, based on what i'd experienced woohooo!! As for now, i need to sort out the boring stuff like laundry etc...*yawn*

Final submission of dissertation

Yesterday i dah submitted my dissertation so skrg bole pack segala yg kena-mengena dgn masters dlm kotak, simpan dlm stor hehehe

Perasaan tersangat gembira sebab dapat settle semua before my holiday yahoooo!!! kira the first person yang hantar. Petua menghantar research: jangan la mengada-ngada nak cek balik benda yg dah di bind hardcover tu sebab in case ada silap haaaa....nanti korang juga yg depress. So bila org nak tengok i punya aritu, i said "sori dear, gam tak kering lagi, tak leh buka nanti berterabur hehe" Tapi actually memang gam tak kering lagipun sebab kedai tu baru buatkan :-)

Pengalaman menyiapkan research ni sangat berharga.....no regret! next level? nanti2 la.

Tomorrow i'll be in London and lusa in Portugal...tak sempat jumpa kwn2 before they off to hometown for Gawai.

Hope to get together with uol after the cuti2 k frens....

Finally....its OVER!

I gerak dari rumah 7am, sampai Puncak Alam 8.10am....sewaktu dgn budak2 kat bawah ni. Memasing muka pucat..neves takut kena tembak dgn panel hahahaha. Malam tu i tak dapat tidur, viva ni kacau kepala otak aku....so berjaga la sampai ke pagi.

Ni la fakulti baru. Tapi i takda kelas kat sini. Master kat shah alam campus, which im so comfortable with. Skali skala je muncul kat sini, tu pun kalo ada benda penting.

Ni after viva...kan main lagi pose hehe

Lega sungguh rasa hati, viva dah abis yahoooooo!!!!!!!!! Petang tu mata i dah merah2, maybe sebab penat tak tido punya pasal...dah tu, lupa plak bawa eye drops.

Next week jumpa panel lagi minta signature, then boleh buat boleh bind hardcover.

Yang penting next week......EUROPE TOUR! oh lalalalala.....

How to make a simple clutch

Teringat ari tu my faculty ada pre-graduation dinner. Cari punya cari beg yg sesuai...takda. Endun plak dah beli beg baru...so dia kasi pinjam...beg baru tau! i rasmikan hahaha. Cantik, kaler itam....

Ari ni i buat clutch itam...well, itam bole pakai dgn apa-apa pun.

1) Pilih kain yg anda suka. Pastu ukur saiz kain tu....ikut besar mana yg anda suka.
Yg ni, 8 x 20 inch. Jgn lupa lipat dua kain tu...

2) Pastu, cut the batting ikut saiz kain yg dah di gunting

3) Pastu letak batting tu kat bawah kain yg dilipat dua tu. Then jahit. Dont forget to leave 4inch gap supaya dapat turn the fabric inside out nanti.

4) Untuk nampak kemas, gunting lebihan batting tu.

5) Pastu, turn it inside out. Then, lipat 6inch, kemudian jahit tepi tu for both....pastu tebalikkan lagi....ni nanti akan berbentuk ala2 poket la. Pastu, jahit fastener or zip or velcro ke...

6) Disebabkan clutch tu nampak muram je, so i buatkan ribbon. Gunting kain saiz 4x7inch, termasuk batting skali, then jahit. Lepas tu, turn inside out....

7) Untuk jadikan serupa ribbon, jahit kat tengah2 tu. Nampak tak crinkle tu sungguh tak menarik?

8) So, utk menutup jahitan tengah ribbon yg tak menarik tu, i gunting kain 1inch mcm tu la utk lilitkan kat tengah2 ribbon tu.

9) Kemudian, jahit utk lekat kan ribbon tu kat clutch tersebut. Voila!!! u got your clutch oredi.

10) Yes i know itam itu menawan. Kalo ditambah dgn brooch lagi menambahkan seri nya. Mcm muka model, kalo dimekap lagi cantik...lebih kurang begitulah...haha mengarut jak lebih!

How to make a ring bearer pillow

A pillow to carry and present rings during the wedding ceremony provides a sweet memento to enhance the moment. Ring bearer pillows can be economically and creatively made to complement and conform to the wedding decor. Here my step by step on how to make a pillow for your cute little guy to carry.

1) Choose fabric. For this cushion, i choose silk white. I love white btw. Then measure & cut fabric into two squares of equal size....12 x 12 inch square...(buat 2 set)

2) Mula2 jahit utk cushion bahagian dlm. Nampak tak kain tu plain je...coz for bahagian dlm, tak perlu yg cantik2. Jgn lupa to leave 4inch gap so u can stuff the pillow with batting. Sebelum masukkan batting a.k.a kapas, terbalikkan kain ni inside out dulu. Ok in case takda batting, ambik kain lama2 yang dah tak dipakai, masukkan dlm ni...takda hal punya.

3) Pas dah settle dgn cushion. Skrg focus utk buat bahagian luar pla. Lipat kain 4segi, mark with water erasable pen utk bahagian tengah kain tu. Ini adalah untuk memastikan ribbon yg kita buat tu centre nanti.

4) Next measure lagi 2 fabric silk 10 x 12inch. Lipat dua then jahit. Ni utk buat ala2 ribbon kat bahagian luar seperti di bawah. Pastu iron supaya bahagian yg berlipat tu berada di bawah dengan kemas, then jahit hujung nya dengan fabric 12x12 tu.

5) Then pin the two fabrics square together (exterior facing each other). Pastu, jahit...then turn inside out. Mcm ni la rupanya selepas dijahit.

6) Supaya tak nampak dull sgt, i ambik lace (white also). Jahit hujung lace tu kat atas fabric yg bersilang tu.

7) Kemudian, lipat bahagian tengah (ambik tempat yg di 'mark') then jahit supaya jadi kedutan/crinkle. Buat for both.

8) Ok, beginilah rupa bila dah jahit bahagian tengah.

9) Utk nampak lagi menarik, i beli pin bentuk butterfly then pin kan kat bahagian tengah tu. Ni penting untuk menutup tempat yg di kedut kan tu & utk menampak kan lagi ekslusif (ye ke?)

10) Korek2 peti ajaib i, terjumpa ni. So i decided utk lekatkan ni kat tepi ribbon tu. So i gunting benda ni satu-satu. What do u call this thing, manik? bling..bling la kot hehe.

11) Dah jadi seperti di bawah. Oh no! nampat semak sangat la. I thought ring bearer pillow should be simple & elegant. So i buka balik bling2 yg dijahit hahaha then jahit kat satu tempat je. Btw, kat setiap bahagian tepi bantal tu i jahit pearl yg berjuntai2 tu...

12) Pastu two ribbons pjg di ikat kat bahagian tengah. Digunakan utk mengikat the rings nanti. Rings ni kena ikat ribbon supaya senang buka time ceremony nanti. So ni la rupa pillow yg i buat.

13) Bahagian tepi plak.

14) Another tip, u bole pilih apa-apa jenis bunga or bear etc utk diletak kat tengah cushion ni. Depends on citarasa individu. Mcm kat bawah ni, bunga matahari. I bet it will look beautiful with pink flower hehe...

You can use your theme colour for the ribbon. I play it safe by just using white colour coz i dunno their (Puan Girl) theme kaler.

Cost breakdown:

Fabric 1meter (RM5.00 beli kat Kamdar)
Lace 1meter (RM2.00 beli kat wangsa maju time jalan2)
Ribbon 1 meter (RM0.20 )
Butterfly pin (RM1)

Total: RM8.20 it's totally cheap i think. Who says that we need everything to be super pricey coz its w.e.d.d.i.n.g. Kalo ada lebihan fabric yg bole digunakan, use it. I spent about 3hours buat project ni, maklumlah tukar2 benda yang dah di jahit...very indecisive me. Btw, bole je mix kaler fabric tu ikut theme.

Simple & easy kan? u too can do it, have a go & all the best :-)

Ok ni lagi satu, byk benda yg berlaku secara kebetulan. MH's fren getting married on 5/6, venue berdekatan dgn ours. So on the 5th kat tmpt kwn dia, then 6th will be ours...wah! bizi. I tanya MH, kwn dia yg mana satu. He told me Chris & Joe....ok, actually i met them few years ago. I got a little bit confuse, "Which Chris? u got so many frens name Chris." He said, "Ooo...and u got so many frens name Caroline". Eee...pandai ko kena kan aku ye encik.

Lack of sleep

Tetiba ada problem tido plak skrg. Paksa suruh mata tido...dia taknak, degil. Tidur tak menentu beberapa minggu ni, kekadang tak tido langsung, so mata ni konfius bila dia patut rehat. LONDON (AFP) – People who get less than six hours sleep per night have an increased risk of dying prematurely, researchers said on Wednesday.

Those who slumbered for less than that amount of time were 12 percent more likely to die early, though researchers also found a link between sleeping more than nine hours and premature death. "If you sleep little, you can develop diabetes, obesity, hypertension and high cholesterol," Francesco Cappuccio, who led research on the subject at Britain's University of Warwick, told AFP.

The study, conducted with the Federico II University in Naples, Italy, aggregated decade-long studies from around the world involving more than 1.3 million people and found "unequivocal evidence of the direct link" between lack of sleep and premature death. "We think that the relation between little sleep and illness is due to a series of hormonal and metabolical mechanisms," Cappuccio said.
The findings of the study were published in the Sleep journal.

Cappuccio believes the duration of sleep is a public health issue and should be considered as a behavioural risk factor by doctors. "Society pushes us to sleep less and less," Cappuccio said, adding that about 20 percent of the population in the United States and Britain sleeps less than five hours. Sleeping less than six hours is "more common amongst full-time workers, suggesting that it may be due to societal pressures for longer working hours and more shift work"

The study also found a link between sleeping more than nine hours per night and premature death, but Cappuccio said oversleeping is more likely to be an effect of illness, rather than a cause. "Doctors never ask how much one sleeps, but that could be an indicator that something is wrong," said Cappuccio, who heads the Sleep, Health and Society Programme at the University of Warwick.
Research showed no adverse effects for those sleeping between six and eight hours per day.

Yes! yess! yessss!!! Finally i submitted my research yesterday. Ujan lebat ku redahi..as in lebat yg teramat lebat, thunderstom zzaaazzz....gerun pun ada.....kenapa semacam je sambutan ni haha dahsyat betul.

Bought myself a pair of shoes from Alain Delon just after i submitted the research...that shoes for Viva next week. At least bagi i confident masa jalan masuk depan panel2 tu. And thought of buying myself a pair of sexy lingerie and get my nail done. Ah ladies! this little things will make us feel sexy eventhough others cant see it...well, at least to me hehehe.

My three piece suit doesnt fit me anymore....the blazer bole la, tp sluar agak ketat la plak. Nanti terbonjol kluar mata panel tengok 'fit'nya sluar tu hihihi...trus i dpt full mark.

Baju kurung or suit?? tell me.....

ps: akaii arini baru rasa backside sakit, tak sedar beberapa ari duduk kat kerusi tu pagi hingga ke pagi ngadap laptop, tido tak hengat, makan ala kadar jak..kerusi kayu waiii nyak meh pedih tumbung..ka minta kerusi empuk kat menteri kewangan la...serius ni, sakit sesangat, takan plak nak antar urut part tu..ish! ish!. sian ko laptop, nanti bagi ko rehat puas2 k...pls jgn meragam..i lap u!

Semakin bertambah usia, semakin bertambah rabunlah kita....*fact*.

Ketika berada di luar rumah, pakailah spec hitam untuk melindungi mata dari UV.....so beli lah spec yg berkenaan ya, tak perlu branded2 yg penting mata dijaga. Bukan setakat menjaga mata, tapi penampilan makin cool *he he he* tapi jangan pakai diwaktu malam sebab memang akan nampak tak cool *hate.it*.

Tips menjaga mata:

Gunakan kentang. Zat pottasium dalam kentang berkesan utnuk merawat lingkaran hitam di bawah mata.

Buang kulit kentang pastu hiris kentang tu agak2 la saiz tu ye....setengah inci ok la, bentuk membulat.

Lekapkan hirisan kentang pada mata....rehat 20minit. Time ni bole la lelapkan mata, kerana tidur juga penting untuk kecantikan. Jangan guling2 plak bila baring tu, tak ada maknanya letak kentang, nanti jatuh.

Bukan setakat menghilangkan dark circle malah turut membuatkan mata anda segar.

a) Memasak? apa tu?
I tak reti sangat masak. Tapi ni resepi yang im proud of hehe
Ingredients:
Maggi instant noodle
Egg
Onion

Masuk kan minyak masak dlm kuali…pastu tumis bawang. ps: minyak jgn byk sgt ye, kolesterol ehemm….
Kemudian, masukkan telur (1 is enuf, kena jaga ekonomi ok). Goreng2….pastu masukkan air, ni main agak2 je, segelas pun bole, kalo nak byk sup, 2gelas.
Ok, bila dah mendidih, masukkan Maggie & perisa.
Bila dah lembut sikit, masukkan dlm bowl yg cute…lagi selera makan. Noodle tu jgn lembut sgt, not nice.
Kemudian, perah sebiji limau kasturi…
Gunakan chopstick utk makan….in front of telly!

b) Sports
Zaman skolah memang sangat aktif bersukan….mewakili skolah dlm MSSM. Waktu tingkatan 4, dapat anugerah olahragawati.

C) Education
I ni bukan tergolong dlm pelajar bijak pandai….enuff said!

d) Convent school
I dihantar ke convent school since Primary 1, means I only jumpa my parents maybe twice a year or if lucky three or four times a year. Kesimpulannya, I betul2 tinggal dgn my parents about seven years of my life. I dunno how I managed “living on my own”, but basically I’m still much alive woohooo!!!!! I think kids at that age still need their parents.

e) Not in speaking term with mom
Ok this is silly! When I was at secondary school, I dgn kwn sorang CT dilantik jadi security guard kat luar blok skolah coz dating zaman skolah adalah kesalahan berat. So kami pun jadilah security guard. So lepas mereka tu dating, CT & I minta nak try naik kreta laki ni. Cikgu yg meronda kat area tu ternampak la I dgn CT masuk plak kreta laki tu…..syok la ronda satu pusingan kat kawasan skolah. Entah mcm mana, mata cikgu yg memandang (kami tak buat apa2 pun…bengong!!), surat warning pun dihantar kat makbapak. BOOOMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! my mom dtg skolah maki hamun I sambil nangis2! I tell you, rasa nak terjun cliff pun ada…no one cares. I have no room to explain what is actually happened…let alone to my parents. I di’cop’ jahat sesangat…sampai my mom taknak ckp dah dgn i. Fair enuff. Errrr…I was the ugliest kid in school ok, boifren pun takda. So in 2006, I have the courage to tell her what is actually happened….Wah! took ages to get it out of the chest.......*pain*

f) Suka berangan-angan
Ni hobby yg best….suka berangan-angan. Tapi ingat, angan-angan tu bole jadi kenyataan.

h) Love dogs

Pernah singgah kat cafe ni? I slalu lalu this place tapi tak pernah singgah. So me & MH decided to try their food here coz he read somewhere that they serve the best steak in town.

Coliseum cafe was established since 1921 and consider one of the oldest in the country...err like 89 years old. My grandma is older than Coliseum...she is 100+ now and many more years ahead...wah! bless you grandma mwwaahhh! love u!

Ok, deco kat dlm ni memang maintain. Rasa mcm kembali ke zaman dulu2, peaceful. Tau kan betapa busy Jln TAR tu and bila masuk kat dlm cafe ni, u bole lupa yg actually u are kat Jln TAR...haa mcm tu la.

I ordered grilled lamb chop & MH ordered steak. Oh yeah bebeh! memang sedap. So, abaikan perception anda tentang keadaan tempat ni dari luar coz the food is sooo yummy! Pssst...sik pernah ku terfikir mok "google" dgn nenek ku kenak nya berik nama ku Ubong or apa maksud that name. Nok ku tauk, nama ia turun-temurun. Eg: My nenek name is Ubong...so mak ku beri nama ku Ubong. My mom's name is Bungan...so my next generation is Bungan Pearce?? ~~~hehehehe~~~~
